Progress
I just wanted to check in with you guys. The weight loss is still going well. I'm still losing about a pound a week. Still working out 5 days a week. I even started a running group. It's apart of a bigger organization called Black Girls Run! I talked about them in my last blog post. We meet once a week at the park and walk. So far it's the three of us but I have people who have shared their interest to join. Right now we are mostly walking but we're up to walking three miles. We hope to make it four tomorrow. I've made a new goal for myself. I can't believe I'm putting it out there but it makes me accountable if I do. I decided that I want to run a marathon, alright a Half marathon. That's 13 miles for anyone who didn't know. Yes run for 13 miles. That's nuts right but it's my new goal for this year.
